Day #35

Meg's wound care with Dr. F went well. He's very pleased with her healing and anticipates doing the skin grafts at least 4 weeks from now. Meg and Mike went to the hospital for bloodwork to measure her progress on the blood thinner.

Hello everyone! 

So far this weekend has been pretty normal. It is really much better to be home than sitting in a hospital. I have been taking my shots pretty well I think- Mom is pretty good at giving them to me no matter how much I flinch. 

Today Mom is washing my brace, so I am kind stuck on the couch until it dries. It's not so bad. I have been doing my OT- I can make a fist and touch my thumb and pinkie together! I also tried playing Guitar Hero on medium- not too bad, but my pinkie isn't completely ready yet. 

Besides that, there isn't much news! I have wound care changes tomorrow with Dr. F and I have to go get some blood work done to find out about my blood clot. :)
